Crystal Precious - Queen of Sass.

“A mainstay in Vancouver’s underground for more than a decade.” - Vancouver Magazine

Crystal Precious is a Vancouver-based vocalist & host.  Recognized by the International Burlesque Hall of Fame as a “Mover and Shaker” in the glitzy world of underground showgrrls, she is a bass-head at heart who’s been known to turn up at late-night warehouse venues with sequins on her eyes, stories on her lips and a rolling suitcase full of shenanigans.

CP tours as a founding member and MC of the internationally acclaimed neo-troupe Sweet Soul Burlesque, performing live vocal hip hop tracks and cracking jokes between striptease acts. After co-creating the Vancouver International Burlesque festival in 2006 and helming Vancouver's notorious underground venue Dollhouse Studios until 2010, CP went on to host and produce six years worth of weekly shows with SSB at the Keefer Bar. Her first record, a collab with Self Evident entitled “The Strip Hop EP”, was released in 2015 following the viral success of her video "Apple Pie (No Pie For You)", directed by Stuart Mackay Smith.

Recently Crystal expanded her popular blog “Adventures in Sass” into a podcast, which features candid conversations with her counter-culture compatriots about life as an underground artist in the PNW.
